Elsa Doodles 2

!!THIS DESCRIPTION CONTAINS A TINY SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO CARE!!

Ok so I LOVED this movie, if you couldn't already tell. And despite terrible art block, I kept drawing Frozen stuff. This is what I've gathered up of Elsa that I can bear to show you guys. Everything else is… meh. 

The bottom left picture is what I imagine Elsa doing after she's been told her parent's passed away. She slams the door and at first she's completely numb. Then, she begins to feel utterly afraid. Her only security she's had with her powers was her parents and they're now gone. 

 She's afraid, but mostly grieving and I imagined her wild, grieving emotions would cause more self-destructive effects. Especially as she tries to hold it all inside, the ice actually freezes and cracks her gloves and dress. She suffers from "freeze burns" as she tries her best to do what her parents always taught her. I imagine she almost turns completely to ice, herself.

 The blue sketch up to the right of it is her a few hours after she's been able to numb herself again. But every tear she sheds turns to ice on her face. She just leaves them there until she's finally able to get up and take care of herself. By the time Anna comes to talk to her after the funeral, she's composed herself enough. But Anna's pleas bring on a new wave of sadness that inevitably covers her room in ice. 

Also, why do I like drawing her so much with her hair down? I just love to think she has her hair down when she's completely alone- somewhat like a crazy person stranded on an island would be like. Unkempt and wild. I dunno. I love her braid too ;w;
